Press-welded elbow, which is formed by using a blanking die to shape half a ring elbow from sheet metal of the same material as the pipe, and then welding the two half-ring elbows together to form the final product. Due to the varying welding standards for different types of pipelines, it is typically shipped with the semi-finished products fixed by spot welding at assembly points. The actual welding is performed on-site according to the grade of the pipeline weld. Hence, it is also known as a two-piece welded elbow.

Elbow: A fitting in piping systems that connects two pipes with the same or different nominal diameters, allowing the pipeline to bend at a certain angle.

Elbow classifications: Commonly, there are three types based on angles: 45°, 90°, and 180° elbows. Additionally, other non-standard angle elbows, such as 60°, are included according to engineering requirements.

Ways to connect pipes include: direct welding (a common method), flange connection, threaded connection, and socket-and-spigot connection, etc.
