The primary manufacturing standards for socket weld elbows typically include GB/T13401-2005, GB/T12459-2005, ASME B16.9, SH3409, HG/T21635, HG/T21631, SY/T0510, and GB/T10752-1995. Welded Elbow Classification Editing (1) Welded elbow fittings are categorized by their curvature radius, which includes long-radius and short-radius types. The long-radius welded elbow has a curvature radius that is 1.5 times the pipe's outside diameter, denoted as R=1.5D. The short-radius welded elbow has a curvature radius equal to the pipe's outside diameter, R=1D. In the formula, D represents the diameter of the elbow, and R represents the curvature radius. Unless otherwise specified, 1.5D elbows are typically selected. (2) There are approximately seventeen pressure classes, which align with American pipe standards. These include: Sch5s, Sch10s, Sch10, Sch20, Sch30, Sch40s, STD, Sch40, Sch60, Sch80s, XS; Sch80, Sch100, Sch120, Sch140, Sch160, XXS. Among them, STD and XS are the most commonly used. (3) Available in various angles, we offer 45-degree, 90-degree, and 180-degree butt-weld elbows, as well as elbows in other different angles. (4) Materials include: carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel.
