Wide Application Sound Barrier Technology Quality Requirements

Sound barriers are now widely used along highways for noise reduction and soundproofing purposes. Besides lowering noise levels, they also serve other functions, such as acting as windbreaks, retaining walls, load-bearing walls, and more. The foundation of sound barriers is diverse, combining and extending the shallow pile continuous beam foundation and the driven pile foundation. The foundation construction varies greatly, often being a composite design featuring variable cross-section foundations, steel piles with shallow pile continuous beam foundations, underground continuous wall foundations, and pile-beam composite foundations, among others.

Primarily applied in the foundation of large, multifunctional noise barrier projects. Its foundation features ensure its stability, serving as retaining walls, load-bearing walls, and more. The posts of the noise barriers are welded to the bases, with the welding points and surfaces treated with two coats of primer and two coats of topcoat for corrosion resistance. The sound-absorbing noise barriers maintain their acoustic performance in high humidity or rainy conditions.

Acoustic sound barriers are designed to maintain their noise absorption capabilities despite the presence of dust and sandstorms; the barriers are made from materials that resist aging to enhance product longevity; EVA foam strips are installed between the acoustic panels and H-shaped steel columns for vibration reduction and sealing; during production and processing, the on-site verification of pre-buried components and column distances is confirmed against actual dimensions, with pre-buried components set at 2500mm intervals with an allowable error of ±5mm.

The sound barrier is installed based on the practical width of expansion joints, with measures taken to ensure the structural strength of the barrier (H steel pillars) meets a uniform load of 150 kg/m. The large deflection is less than <L/600. Random inspections of the sound barrier components are conducted on-site, checking for any damage on the component surface, integrity of the acoustic cotton packaging, the rate of holes in the acoustic panels, the filling of acoustic materials, as well as the material condition of the front, back, and side panels of the acoustic panels. All components of the sound barrier are guaranteed for a normal service life of not less than 15 years.
