The LNG low-temperature breakaway valve manufactured by Shengdian is an emergency disconnection device for tank truck loading and unloading equipment. The breakaway valve effectively prevents leakage accidents caused by accidental rupture of hoses, and is suitable for applications including ship-to-shore unloading, tank truck loading and unloading on highways and railways, as well as for fixed and mobile fluid storage devices such as crane hoses, fluid transfer arms, and connections between transport carriers.
The maximum extended length of the LNG cutoff valve's pull rope must be less than the maximum length of the crane arm or flexible hose. In the event of an unexpected vehicle movement, it should activate the cutoff valve, causing it to separate into two parts. Simultaneously, the separation cross-section closes instantly to prevent any leakage incidents. This valve requires manual reset and can be repeatedly pulled apart for use.
In the event of an accidental movement of an LNG low-temperature breakaway valve on a truck tanker or rail tanker without disconnecting the connection, the breakaway valve is activated. A lanyard is set along the pipeline of the loading/unloading crane or flexible hose of the loading/unloading vehicle, with one end fixed to the breakaway valve and the other end secured to the ground or a thicker pipe.
