A water-cooled screw-type low-temperature refrigeration unit is a refrigeration equipment used for refrigerants at temperatures ranging from -35℃ to 5℃, suitable for various applications requiring low-temperature refrigerants below 5 degrees. It is widely used as a cooling source in the production processes of non-ferrous metal metallurgy, chemicals and pharmaceutical intermediates, petrochemicals, grain and oil, food and beverage, machinery, medicine, electronics, air separation, new materials, aerospace, optoelectronics technology, new energy, and energy-saving and environmental protection.
The NBS series water-cooled screw-type low-temperature refrigeration units produced by Ao Shuang Refrigeration can provide a range of cold sources with a certain proportion of ethylene glycol water solution or calcium chloride water solution from -35 to -5°C. This series of low-temperature chillers is mainly composed of several major components, including screw refrigeration compressors, oil separators, shell-and-tube heat exchangers, economizers, expansion valves, dry filters, and PLC control systems.
Product Design Features
◆ Utilizes imported semi-hermetic screw compressors with economizer types, offering high energy efficiency and reliable operation with long lifespan. The compressors of each refrigeration system start with a star-delta reduction voltage under low load (25%), effectively reducing the starting current and impact on the power grid.
◆ The compressor is equipped with a patented exhaust*, ensuring low-noise operation of the water-cooled screw-type low-temperature refrigeration unit. The optional heat recovery model uses patented heat accumulator technology, with a summer heat recovery rate of up to 30%-40% of the refrigeration capacity, and the maximum heat recovery rate during winter operation of the process water-cooled screw-type low-temperature cooling unit can reach 75%.
◆ Screw Chiller Compressors Utilize renowned brand screw chiller compressors, featuring 5:6 third-generation asymmetric tooth profile screws with American and European technology and new production lines.

It allows for stepless or graded energy adjustment, with flexible and convenient control, energy-saving, and easy maintenance.

◆ The water-cooled screw low-temperature refrigeration unit employs a double-layer three-dimensional oil separator filter, providing excellent oil filtering and ensuring the normal operation of the compressor and heat exchanger.
◆ Utilizes a pumpless internal pressure differential oil lubrication system, energy-efficient and reliable, with a low-fluorine, low-iron loss motor design. Equipped with a reliable motor overheating protection device to ensure the motor operates reliably.
The CNS11870B7273 (IS0917, JISB8606) testing system ensures 100% compliance with design requirements for compressor performance at factory. Installing a non-return valve at the exhaust port prevents the rotor from reversing during shutdown.
◆ Water-cooled screw-type low-temperature refrigeration unit oil separator technology: Utilizes centrifugal spiral-type secondary oil separator to further separate refrigerant oil from the exhaust, ensuring stable operation under low-temperature working conditions, widely applicable to process low-temperature refrigeration requirements.
Electrical Control: All components for the start-up and control of the unit are installed within the electrical control box, wired and functionally tested by the factory. The electrical control section includes: a touch screen, Siemens PLC controller, main contactor, molded case circuit breakers, etc. The equipment is equipped with a separate emergency stop device, ensuring the safety of the operators.
