Socket-weld fittings are a type of pipe fittings, which are machined pipeline connectors forged from stainless steel round bars or ingots.

The connection type is socket welding (SW), which involves inserting the steel pipe into the socket and welding it. The main manufacturing standards are ANSI/ASME B16.11, HG/T 21634, MSS SP-83, MSS SP 79, and GB/T 14383-2008.

The types of stainless steel socket and spigot fittings include 45° elbows, 90° elbows, tees, crosses, 45° reducing tees, double-socket pipe clamps, single-socket pipe clamps, pipe caps, swivel joints, and branch supports. Among them, tees and crosses come in both equal and unequal diameters; double-socket pipe clamps also vary in equal and unequal diameters, with the unequal diameter ones further classified into concentric and eccentric types.
