The DZW series electric actuators for valves are our company's improved and optimized version of a mature product, featuring enhanced protection performance and key components, a completely self-developed new generation product with compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade can meet the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, all-switching, and all-regulating types.
The DZW series products are used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, throttle valves, diaphragm valves, their derived products can also be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. They can accurately respond to control commands, and are an essential driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof types complies with GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1: General Requirements for Electrical Equipment Used in Explosive Gas Atmospheres), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2: Explosion-Proof Types "d" for Electrical Equipment Used in Explosive Gas Atmospheres), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque, during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) The above adjustments are made under conditions of no-load, no-medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the plunger in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" position screwdriver clockwise towards the adjustment shaft, continue turning in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "Off" travel is complete.

At this point, turn a few circles using the electric mechanism, then close it. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Adjustment of Opening Direction: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear to complete the opening stroke adjustment. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, it can be operated repeatedly. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustable opening degree indicator adjustment:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the gear ratio and travel.
