The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed and improved upon our existing mature products. They feature a compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade meets the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, all-in-one switch, and all-in-one regulating types.
The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. It is suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, making it an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product's performance complies with the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Type Valves). The explosion-proof model's performance meets the standards set by GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: Explosion-proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque, during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque of the switch direction according to the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the push rod in the stroke control mechanism and turn it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position using a screwdriver around the adjustment shaft, continue turning until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "OFF" travel is complete.

At this point, you can turn the electric switch a few times, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Adjustment of the opening direction: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustable opening indicator adjustment:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear ratio and travel.
