The DZW series electric actuators for valves are our company's new generation products, improved and perfected based on our mature products, with optimized protection performance and critical components, and fully independently developed. They feature compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The excellent protection grade meets various design requirements: explosion-proof, overall on/off type, and overall regulating type.
The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands, making it an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product's performance meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the explosion-proof type meets the specifications of GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel, and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the closing torque.
(2) Start with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler Control Mechanism Adjustment
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. This indicates that the initial OFF travel has been properly adjusted.

At this point, you can turn it on electrically a few times, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the valve is adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the gear and stroke.
