I: Overview

The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product's performance meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the explosion-proof type meets the specifications of GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: Explosion-proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjusting the torque, during travel, it is essential to check if the potentiometer on the position indicator has been disengaged (simply loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switch direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no-load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Disengage the travel control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the travel control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the initial "OFF" position travel is properly adjusted.

At this point, turn a few circles using the electric function, then turn it off. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements. If not, adjust according to the above procedure.
(5) Opening Direction Adjustment: After adjusting the closing direction, manually open the valve to the required position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft until the cam engages the spring plate and the microswitch operates. Once the microswitch is activated, engage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear for the opening stroke to be complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, it can be operated repeatedly. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled at about 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear ratio and travel.
