The DZW series electric actuators for valves are our company's improved and optimized version of the mature products, featuring enhanced protection performance and key components, a completely self-developed new generation product with compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade can meet the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, all-in-one switch type, and all-in-one regulating type.
The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can be applied to ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately operate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof models conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Start with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switching direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load and no medium pressure. When there is pressure and temperature, pay attention to whether it can be tightly closed. If it cannot be tightly closed, you should appropriately increase the torque value to ensure it can be tightly closed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Remove the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and turn it 90°, thereby disconnecting the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver until the cam engages the spring plate, following the arrow direction, until the microswitch action is achieved. This indicates that the "Off" stroke is initially adjusted.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then close it. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to activate. Once the stroke mechanism engages with the driving gear, the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
