The DZW series electric actuators for valves are our company's improved and refined version of our mature products, featuring optimized protection performance and critical components, and are a completely self-developed new generation product. The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof type conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel, and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switch direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position using a screwdriver until the cam engages the spring plate, following the arrow direction until the microswitch actuates. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "OFF" travel is complete.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Valve Direction Adjustment: After adjusting the valve in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. Once the stroke mechanism engages with the driving gear, the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, the valve opening is controlled at about 90%.
3. Adjustable opening indicator adjustment:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the gear shift and travel.
