I: Overview
The DZW series valve electric actuators are our company's improved and refined version of mature products, featuring optimized protection performance and critical components, and are a completely self-developed new generation product. They boast advantages such as compact structure, small size, aesthetic appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection rating can meet various design requirements: explosion-proof, full switch, and full adjustment types.
The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. It is suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivatives can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and wind gates, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product's performance complies with the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators for General Valves) and meets the specifications of GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Intrinsically Safe "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Intrinsically Safe Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel; ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Start with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switch direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no-load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" position screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft and turn it in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "Off" position travel has been initially adjusted.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then shut it off. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Valve Opening Adjustment: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, it can be operated repeatedly. Generally, the valve opening is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after aligning the gear and travel.
