I. Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed through improvements and optimizations of the structure of our mature products, enhancing protective performance and key components. They are completely self-developed and feature a compact design, small size, aesthetically pleasing appearance, and stable, reliable performance. With a good protection grade, they can meet the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, all-in-one switching, and all-in-one regulating types.
The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products are applicable to ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators for Valves of General Type) and the performance of explosion-proof type conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque while moving the stroke; ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switch direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; generally, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no-load and no-medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure or temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be sealed tightly. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the screwdriver to the "OFF" position on the adjustment shaft, turning it in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. This indicates that the "OFF" stroke is initially adjusted.

At this point, you can turn it on electrically a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Adjustment of Opening Direction: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft until the cam engages the spring plate and the microswitch operates. Once the microswitch operates, reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear for the opening stroke adjustment to be complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, it can be operated repeatedly several times. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled at around 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
