The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed independently, based on our mature products. We have improved and optimized the structure, enhanced the protective performance, and upgraded critical components. They feature a compact design, small size, attractive appearance, and stable, reliable performance. The good protection level meets various design requirements: explosion-proof, all-in-one switching, and all-in-one regulating types.
The DZW series is designed for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used with ball valves, butterfly valves, and air doors, etc. It can accurately execute control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof types conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel; ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the switch direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no-load, without medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" position with a screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, turning until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "Off" travel has been initially adjusted.

At this point, you can turn it on electrically a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to actuate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear to complete the opening stroke adjustment. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the gear and travel.
