I: Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are our company's improved and optimized version of our mature products, featuring enhanced protection performance and key components, and are a completely self-developed new generation product. They offer advantages such as compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The high protection grade meets the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, overall on/off type, and overall regulating type.
The DZW series products are used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, throttle valves, diaphragm valves, their derivative products can also be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. They can accurately actuate according to control commands, and are an essential driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof type conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjusting torque, while moving the stroke, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the closing torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque of the switching direction according to the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load and without medium pressure, etc. When pressure and temperature are present, pay attention to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed properly, increase the torque value appropriately to ensure it can be sealed and opened.
2. Travel Control Mechanism Adjustment
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Disengage the travel control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the travel control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, turning according to the arrow direction until the cam presses against the spring plate, stopping the microswitch action. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "Off" travel is complete.

At this point, you can turn it on electrically a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Adjustment of the opening direction: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the gear and travel.
