I: Overview
The DZW series electric actuators are an improved and perfected version of our mature products, featuring optimized protection performance and key components, and are completely self-developed new-generation products. The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof type conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjusting the torque, during travel, it is necessary to check if the potentiometer on the position indicator has been disconnected (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disconnect) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the closing torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque of the switch direction according to the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no-load and no medium pressure. When there is pressure and temperature, pay attention to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed properly, increase the torque value appropriately to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Remove the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby disengaging the driving sprocket from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" position screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, turning it according to the arrow direction until the cam engages the spring pressure plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "Off" travel is complete.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then close it. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the valve is adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke adjustment is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear ratio and stroke.
