Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed through improvements and optimizations on our mature products. They feature a compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade meets various design requirements: explosion-proof, all-position switch, and all-position regulating.
The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can also be applied to ball valves, butterfly valves, and air doors, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof types complies with GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel, and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disconnected (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disconnect) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the opening and closing direction of the valve according to its operational characteristics; generally, the opening torque is larger than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load and no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed properly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be sealed and opened easily.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the travel control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the pin in the travel control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" position screwdriver clockwise towards the adjustment shaft, continuing to turn until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "Off" position travel is initially adjusted.

At this point, you can turn it on electrically a few rotations, then turn it off, and check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, you can readjust according to the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the closed direction adjustment is complete, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate and the microswitch activates. Once the stroke mechanism engages with the driving gear, the open direction stroke is adjusted. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, it can be operated repeatedly. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear and stroke.
