I. Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are our company's improved and refined version of mature products, featuring optimized protection performance and critical components. It's a completely self-developed new generation product with compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade meets various design requirements: explosion-proof, overall switch, and overall adjustment types.
The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product's performance complies with the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and meets the specifications of GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Flameproof "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Flameproof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjusting torque, while moving the stroke, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Start with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, and other factors. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly closed. If it cannot be tightly closed, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly closed and easily opened.
2. Travel Control Mechanism Adjustment:
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position with a screwdriver until the cam engages the spring plate, following the arrow direction until the microswitch action is achieved. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "OFF" travel is complete.

Now, you can manually turn it a few rotations and then shut it off. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements. If not, you can re-adjust following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Valve Opening Adjustment: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear to complete the opening stroke adjustment. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
