I. Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed through improvements and optimizations on our mature products. They feature a compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. With a good protection grade, they can meet the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, all-in-one switch type, and all-in-one regulating type.
The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can be applied to ball valves, butterfly valves, and air doors, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands, making it an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof type conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjusting torque, during travel, it is essential to check if the potentiometer on the position indicator has been disconnected (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disconnect it) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the closing torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque of the switching direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no-load, no-medium pressure, etc. When pressure and temperature are present, pay attention to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed properly, increase the torque value appropriately to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Remove the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the plunger in the mechanism and turn it 90°, thus disconnecting the driving sprocket from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" adjustment shaft using a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "Off" stroke is initially adjusted.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then close it. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Once the stroke mechanism engages with the driving gear, the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
