I. Overview
The DZW series electric actuators are a new generation of products, developed and improved upon our mature products, featuring compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. With an excellent protection grade, they can meet various design requirements: explosion-proof, full switch, and full adjustment types.
The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Type Valves) and the performance of the explosion-proof type complies with GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel; ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the closing torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the switching direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no-load and without medium pressure. When there is pressure or temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed properly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel Control Mechanism Adjustment:
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Remove the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the plunger in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby disengaging the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "Off" travel is complete.

At this point, you can turn the switch a few times electrically, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Valve Direction Adjustment: After adjusting the valve in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. Once the stroke mechanism engages with the driving gear, the opening stroke adjustment is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated a few times. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and travel.
