The DZW series electric actuators for valves are our company's improved and optimized version of a mature product, featuring enhanced protection performance and critical component upgrades. The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. It is suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for achieving remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof types conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel; ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the closing torque.
(2) Start with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the switch direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no-load, no-medium pressure, etc. When pressure and temperature are present, pay attention to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be tightly sealed, increase the torque value appropriately, aiming for tight closure and easy opening.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thus separating the driving sprocket from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses down on the spring plate, stopping when the microswitch action is engaged. The OFF stroke is then initially adjusted.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the closed direction adjustment is done, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to actuate. Once the stroke mechanism engages with the driving gear, the open direction stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, you can repeat the operation a few times. Generally, control the valve opening to about 90%.
