I. Overview
The DZW series electric actuators are a new generation of products that our company has developed and improved upon our existing mature products, optimizing the protective performance and key components. They are entirely self-developed, featuring a compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade meets the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, overall on/off, and overall regulating types.
The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivatives can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof types conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environments: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environments: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque while moving the stroke, and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Start from a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque direction according to the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load and no medium pressure. When there is pressure and temperature, pay attention to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be tightly sealed, increase the torque value appropriately, aiming for tightness and ease of opening.
2. Travel Control Mechanism Adjustment
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" position screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, turning it according to the arrow direction until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the micro switch to actuate. This indicates that the "Off" stroke is initially adjusted.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations and then close it, checking if the travel direction meets the requirements. If not, you can readjust as per the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the valve is adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear to complete the opening stroke adjustment. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and travel.
