The DZW series is designed for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products are applicable to ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable drive device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof type conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel, and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the closing torque.
(2) Start from a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When pressure and temperature are present, pay attention to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed properly, increase the torque value appropriately to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position with a screwdriver until the cam engages the spring plate, following the arrow direction until the microswitch actuates. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "OFF" travel is complete.

At this point, you can electrically open it a few turns, then close it, and check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, you can adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the direction is adjusted in the closed position, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke adjustment is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear ratio and travel.
