The DZW series valve electric actuators are a new generation of products that our company has developed independently, based on the improvement and optimization of our mature products' structure, protection performance, and critical components. The DZW series is designed for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, its derivatives can also be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and air gates, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof types conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjusting the torque, during travel, it is essential to check if the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (simply loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque of the switch direction according to the valve's operational characteristics; generally, the opening torque is larger than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" position screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, turning until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "Off" position is complete.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Opening Direction Adjustment: After adjusting the closing direction, manually open the valve to the required position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to actuate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear to complete the opening stroke adjustment. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, control the opening valve to around 90%.
3. Adjustability of the adjustable opening indicator:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear and travel.
