Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed through improvements and optimizations to the structure of our mature products. They feature compact design, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade meets the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, overall switch type, and overall regulating type.
The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof types conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque while traveling; ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disconnected (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is completely shut.
(3) Adjust the torque for switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load, without medium pressure, and other factors. When there is pressure or temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler Control Mechanism Adjustment
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position adjustment shaft with a screwdriver, turning it in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. This indicates that the initial adjustment of the "OFF" position is complete.
(4)
Now, turn the electric switch a few turns and then turn it off. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements; if not, adjust according to the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Valve Opening Adjustment: After the closing direction adjustment is set, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to activate. Once the stroke mechanism is engaged with the driving gear, the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, you can repeat the operation a few times. Generally, the valve opening is controlled at around 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear and travel.
