I: Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are our company's new generation products, improved and refined based on our mature existing products. They feature compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection level meets various design requirements: explosion-proof, all-in-one switch, and all-in-one regulating.
The DZW series products are used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, throttle valves, diaphragm valves, their derivative products can also be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. They can accurately actuate according to control commands, making them an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Type Valves) and the performance of the explosion-proof type conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque while moving the stroke, and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Start with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque of the switch direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position with a screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, turning until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the initial "OFF" travel has been properly adjusted.

Now, turn it on electrically a few turns, then turn it off. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Opening Direction Adjustment: After adjusting the closing direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, indicating the completion of the opening stroke adjustment. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, perform the operation a few times to ensure accuracy. Typically, control the opening of the valve to about 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
