Three: Adjust
Adjusting torque, during travel, it is essential to check if the potentiometer on the position indicator has been disconnected (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disconnect). This is to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the closing torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed properly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the plunger in the stroke control mechanism and turn it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" position using a screwdriver to adjust the shaft, turning it in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. This indicates that the "Off" travel is initially adjusted.
(4)
At this point, you can manually open it a few turns, then close it. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it according to the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the valve is adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, control the opening of the valve at about 90%.
3. Adjustable opening indicator adjustment:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and travel.
