Three: Adjust
Adjusting torque, during travel, it is essential to check if the potentiometer on the position indicator has been disconnected (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disconnect it) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Start from a low torque value and gradually increase the torque until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the switch direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the plunger in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver until the cam engages the spring plate, following the arrow direction until the microswitch action is achieved. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "Off" travel is complete.
(4)
At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements; if not, you can adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Adjustment of Open Direction: After the closed direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to activate. After that, reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, indicating the completion of the open direction stroke adjustment. Once the stroke control mechanism is adjusted, it can be operated repeatedly. Generally, the open valve is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the torque and stroke.
