I: Overview
The DZW series electric actuators are a new generation of products that our company has developed through improvements and optimizations to our existing mature products. They feature a compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. With a high protection grade, they can meet various design requirements: explosion-proof, overall switching, and overall regulating types.
The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product's performance conforms to the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators for Valves of General Type) and meets the specifications of GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1: General Requirements for Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2: Intrinsically Safe "i" for Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Intrinsically Safe Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque, during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Start from a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the switch direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; generally, the open direction torque is larger than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no-load and no medium pressure. When there is pressure or temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed properly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be sealed and opened easily.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
Manually close the valve completely.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the initial "OFF" position travel is properly adjusted.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then close it. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Adjustment of Opening Direction: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, control the opening valve at about 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear ratio and travel.
