I: Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products, which are improved and optimized on the basis of our company's mature products. They feature compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. With a good protection grade, they can meet the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, all-position switch, and all-position regulating.
The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and wind gates, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands and is an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators for Valves of General Type). The explosion-proof type meets the specifications of GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Start from a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switch direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "OFF" travel has been initially adjusted.

At this point, you can turn it on electrically for a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Adjustment of Open Direction: After adjusting the close direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate and the microswitch is activated. Afterward, reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, which completes the adjustment of the open direction. Once the stroke control mechanism is adjusted, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, control the opening of the valve at around 90%.
