The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed and improved upon our existing mature products, optimizing protection performance and key components. They are completely self-developed, featuring a compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade meets various design requirements: explosion-proof, overall on/off, and overall adjustment types.
The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, throttle valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products are applicable to ball valves, butterfly valves, and air gates, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands, making it an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof models complies with GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque, during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, without medium pressure, and so on. When there is pressure or temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be sealed and opened easily.
2. Travel Control Mechanism Adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, turning until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "OFF" travel has been initially adjusted.

At this point, you can turn the switch a few times electrically, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the closed direction adjustment is complete, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke adjustment is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear ratio and travel.
