Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed and improved upon our mature products. They feature a compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. With an excellent protection grade, they can meet the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, overall switch type, and overall regulating type.
The DZW series products are used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, their derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. They can accurately actuate according to control instructions, and are an essential driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators for Valves of General Type) and the performance of explosion-proof types conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque, during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; generally, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler Control Mechanism Adjustment
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the OFF travel has been initially adjusted.

At this point, you can turn the switch a few times electrically, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Valve Opening Adjustment: After the valve is adjusted in the closed position, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to activate. Once the stroke mechanism engages with the driving gear, the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the valve opening is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
