I. Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products, which our company has improved and refined the structure of our mature products, optimized the protective performance and key components, and are entirely self-developed. They feature a compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection level meets the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, all-position switch, and all-position regulating.
The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves). The explosion-proof type performance complies with GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switch direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; generally, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under no-load, no-medium pressure conditions, etc. When there is pressure or temperature, pay attention to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, increase the torque value appropriately to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses down on the spring plate, stopping the microswitch action. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "Off" travel is complete.

Now, turn it on electrically a few times, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Opening Direction Adjustment: After the closing direction adjustment is complete, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to actuate. Once the stroke mechanism engages with the driving gear, the opening stroke is adjusted. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, you can repeat the operation a few times. Generally, control the opening of the valve to about 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the gear and travel.
