The engine is the power source of the seedling applicator, akin to the human heart, constantly providing a steady stream of power to the applicator. Any issues with the engine can affect the operation of the equipment, subsequently impacting daily work efficiency. Therefore, engine maintenance should not be overlooked. Today, Senlik introduces the first-level maintenance issues for the engine of the soil seedling applicator.
1、Check the oil level in the oil pan and add as necessary. Pay special attention to check for any signs of oil-water mixture.
2、Check the coolant level in the water tank and top it up if it's low.
3、Clean debris and dust from the radiator grille, as well as mud, dirt, and oil stains from the exterior of the diesel engine.
4、Inspect and tighten all bolts on the diesel engine components to eliminate oil, water, and gas leaks.
5、Clean Air Filter:
1) All joints of the air filter must be reliable; it is prohibited to continue operation in the event of damage.
2) Clean the dust collection tray of the air filter with a brush.
When cleaning the filter core, gently tap the top and bottom covers by hand and use a brush to remove dust adhered to the filter core. Alternatively, use compressed air to blow dust from the inside out, then from the outside in, repeatedly until the dust is thoroughly cleaned, and then securely reassemble.
6、Check the tension of the fan belt. While inspecting, apply firm pressure on the belt between the water pump and the generator, pressing down 10-20 millimeters. If it's too loose or too tight, adjust by changing the generator's position. Replace the belt in sets; do not mix new and old belts. Belts from different manufacturers are not to be used together.
7、New or overhauled diesel engines should have their lubricating oil changed and the oil pan and oil filter element cleaned during the first-level technical maintenance. Check and tighten all major bolts and nuts according to the specified torque. Inspect and adjust the valve clearance and fuel injection timing.
