In the plastics processing industry, issues such as shrinkage, silver streaks, bubbles, cracking, streaks, and poor transparency often arise in products. The primary cause of these poor qualities is inadequate drying before the plastic has been formed. Engineering plastics like PA, PET, PC, PBT, and CA, which are highly hygroscopic, cannot be completely dried by traditional hot-air dryers due to moisture seeping into the plastic granules.
Through practical verification, it is necessary to lower the dew point of the dry air to below -40℃ while controlling the heat to pass over the surface of moisture-containing plastic particles, in order to reduce the moisture content to below 0.02% before molding. The all-in-one desiccant dryer operates within a sealed circulation system, effectively removing moisture and heating the air to quickly extract all moisture from the plastic particles, achieving the desired dehumidification and drying effect.
