The role of water well pipes in the infrastructure construction of first-tier cities. Water well pipes, also known as filter pipes, can be categorized into bridge filter pipes and round hole pipes based on the size of the gaps, and can be divided into materials such as concrete pipes, carbon steel flower pipes, and stainless steel filter pipes, etc.

Currently, the most widely used are the dewatering wells in the infrastructure construction of first-tier cities, particularly in the foundation pits for building skyscrapers and subway construction. This usage accounts for a significant portion. Within the drainage wells, there are two types: dewatering wells and pressure-reducing wells. Both types require the use of filter pipes. In Guangzhou and Shenzhen, Guangdong, the dewatering well pipes primarily consist of large-diameter bridge pipes and large-diameter round hole pipes, mainly due to the abundant groundwater in the area. Standard dewatering pipes are insufficient for effective dewatering. However, by using large-diameter filter pipes, such as 400mm OD steel flower pipes, 426mm OD round hole pipes, 500mm OD dewatering well pipes, 529mm OD filter pipes, and 600mm OD dewatering well pipes, larger diameters like 800mm well pipes and 920mm well flower pipes can address the dewatering challenges for construction companies. Bridge-type filter pipes can better filter sand, and round hole pipes, with their filter pipe holes that can be machined to 20mm-60mm, offer better permeability and thus higher dewatering efficiency, meeting the drainage requirements of construction companies during the early stages of infrastructure development.
