Firstly, check the control panel. If it displays "no water," you can pour hot water to see if it's actually empty. Sometimes, a sensor malfunction may send an incorrect signal to your control panel, making it seem like there's no water when there actually is.

Secondly, if the aforementioned issues are resolved, you can inspect the solenoid valve: if water does not drain out, it's definitely because the water in the tank is depleted and no water has been added; it could also be a faulty solenoid valve, as water supply from solar must pass through it to be added. The inspection method is to turn on the water supply, then open the showerhead and adjust it to the hot water direction. If water comes out, it indicates the solenoid valve is functioning properly; if not, it is likely broken. Replacing the solenoid valve is very simple, requiring only two wires, 12V DC, and is very safe. Prices are also reasonable, with good quality models costing between 20 to 30 yuan.

Point 3, inspect the outdoor environment: If the solenoid valve is found to be in good condition after filling, there may be a leak. While filling, observe the water level indicator and listen for the pump's on and off sounds: if the water level reaches 100%, there might be an issue with your water pressure; if the pump shuts off at 20%, it indicates a sensor problem; if the pump doesn't shut off at 20% until the tank is nearly full, it suggests an issue with the sensor; if there's no pump activity, it's time to check the detector.
