Material Introduction
The manufacturing process of PE-RT pipe fitting with expansion and fusion is a forming technique that uses axial compensation expansion of the branch pipe through metallic materials. The process involves using a special hydraulic press to inject liquid into a tube blank equal in size to the fitting, synchronously squeezing the blank with the two horizontal cylinders of the press. As the blank is compressed, its volume decreases, causing the liquid inside to increase in pressure. When the pressure reaches the required level for the branch pipe to expand, the metallic material expands the branch pipe by flowing under the combined pressure from the side cylinders and the liquid pressure within the blank.
PE-RT pipe fittings with channel electric fusion feature post-wiring, where all subsequent processes are completed at room temperature using precise CNC equipment. The high precision ensures ellipticity is controlled at 0.1mm, and the inner hole dimensions at 0.05mm. During the process, the oxidation layer on the plastic inner surface is removed, enhancing the bonding strength and durability during the electric fusion.
