Material Introduction

The manufacturing process of PE-RT pipe fitting with expansion and melting technology involves forming a branch pipe by axially compensating the billet with metal material. The process uses a special hydraulic press to inject an equal amount of liquid into the billet, synchronously squeezing the billet with the two horizontal cylinders of the press. As the billet is compressed, its volume decreases, causing the liquid inside to increase in pressure. When the pressure reaches the required level for the branch pipe to expand, the metal material flows and expands into the branch pipe under the combined pressure of the side cylinder and the liquid pressure inside the billet.

PE-RT pipe fittings with electrofusion connections are post-wired, with all subsequent processes completed at room temperature using precise CNC equipment. High precision is achieved, with ellipticity controlled to 0.1mm and inner hole dimensions to 0.05mm. During the process, the oxidation layer on the plastic inner surface is removed, enhancing the bonding strength and durability during the electrofusion process.
