Preparation before the aircraft's startup
1. Check the oil level of the lubricant, the coolant level, and the fuel quantity
2. Inspect all fuel, lubrication, and cooling systems of the diesel engine for any oil or water leakage in the pipelines and joints.
3. Inspect for any electrical线路 damage or leakage risks, such as frayed insulation, check if the grounding wire electrical线路 is loose, and ensure the connection between the unit and the foundation is secure.
If the ambient temperature drops below zero degrees, a certain proportion of antifreeze must be added to the radiator.
5. After the first start-up or after a prolonged shutdown, the diesel generator set should be primed with a hand pump to expel all air from the fuel system.
Initiate
Upon closing the safety lock within the control box and pressing the start button, hold the button for 3-5 seconds. If the start is unsuccessful, wait approximately 20 seconds before attempting to start again. If multiple attempts fail to start, cease the starting operation. After troubleshooting issues such as battery voltage or fuel line problems, restart the process.
2. During startup, observe the oil pressure. If there is no display or the oil pressure is very low, stop the vehicle immediately for inspection.
III. Operation
Upon engine startup, check the control box module's parameters including oil pressure, water temperature, voltage, and frequency.
2. Typically, once the engine is started, the speed will directly reach the rated speed; for units that require idle speed, the idle time is usually 3~5 minutes. It is important not to let the idle time be too long, as it may damage the related components of the generator.
3. Inspect the leakage conditions of the engine's oil and water lines, as well as electrical systems.
Ensure that all connections of the aircraft assembly are securely fastened, checking for any looseness or excessive vibration.
5. Inspect the various protective and monitoring devices of the observation crew to ensure they are functioning properly.
6. Once the turbine reaches its rated speed and the parameters for no-load operation stabilize, apply the power supply.
7. Verify that all parameters on the control panel are within the allowable range, and re-inspect the vibration of the unit, checking for any leaks or other malfunctions.
8. Loading beyond capacity is strictly prohibited during aircraft operation.
Routine Shutdown
Before shutdown, the switch must be opened first. Generally, after unloading, the machine needs to run for 3 to 5 minutes before stopping.
V. Emergency Shutdown
When an abnormal condition occurs in the generator set, it must be immediately shut down.
2. In the event of an emergency shutdown, press the emergency stop button or quickly push the fuel injection pump shutdown lever down to the stop position.
