Water pressure tests and air pressure tests both involve testing related pressures.

The focus of the inspection differs. Pneumatic testing primarily checks for leakage of the tested item, which can be specifically categorized into direct pressure, differential pressure, and helium detection methods, among others. It can also be divided into dry and wet inspection methods, with increasing accuracy in sequence. The cost of equipment as well as the operating costs also rise accordingly. The choice of inspection method is related to the leakage requirements of the tested item. Choosing the right method aids in improving detection accuracy and corresponding testing efficiency. Theoretically, there is no product that does not leak; it's just a matter of the amount of leakage over a period of time. Select the appropriate range based on your needs.

The air pressure test is conducted at 1.1-1.2 times the normal working pressure, while the hydrostatic test is at 1.5-2.5 times the working pressure. The hydrostatic test is part of the overall strength test. If both air pressure and hydrostatic tests are performed, the hydrostatic test must be conducted first, followed by the air pressure test. The hydrostatic test is relatively safe, whereas the air pressure test is more dangerous.
