Geotextile MembraneDuring construction, it is crucial to pay attention to all situations, as any mistake can have significant consequences later on. Therefore, special attention must be given during construction. Pay particular attention to not lay the material too tightly, avoid creases, and ensure the seams are secure. The thickness should not be less than 0.25mm; otherwise, air holes may form, and it is prone to damage during construction, thereby reducing the effect of water resistance.
The installation of geomembranes must strictly adhere to technical specifications, ensuring quality control at five critical stages: preparation, laying, joining, inspection, and backfilling.
To prevent early hydration due to rain, a 3-5cm thick cement mortar layer should be laid after the sub-layer construction to prevent the waterproofing layer from contacting water and undergoing early hydration. The total compacted thickness of concrete should generally not be less than 10cm.
2. The geomembrane should overlap at least 15cm in the main section and 25cm at the edges, and can be secured with nails and washers at 30cm intervals.
If there is moisture on the ground, ensure proper drainage measures are taken before laying down to prevent early hydration of the product.
