Handling Solutions for Conveyer Belt Deviation on Palletizing Machines

When the conveying belt of a palletizer goes off track, the following methods can be used to address the issue:
When the conveyor belt drifts off course, it pushes the vertical cone roller, causing the fork mounted on the cone roller to deflect at an angle. This then moves a pinion to engage with a cross pin, which rests against the end stop of the side roller, thereby braking it. The sliding friction between the conveyor belt and the roller frame causes the frame to rotate around a vertical axis, moving the conveyor belt towards the center.

2. The new type of alignment roller frame assembly is adopted. The structure of the new alignment roller frame assembly is similar to that of the traditional product, retaining the original rotating mechanism and beam. The idlers have been replaced with several sections, and the side stand rollers have been changed to cone roller bearings. Additionally, a fixed fork for the cone roller has been added, positioning the idle wheel face and cross pin beneath the cone roller.

3. Introduction of New Inertia Wheel. The existing inertia wheel structure consists of pipes, washers, bearing housing, main shaft, bearings, and inner and outer sealing rings. It is characterized by a large quantity and heavy weight, with poor reliability in the connection between the bearing housing and the pipe body. Therefore, a new type of roller with an inverted helical spring can be adopted. The structure includes bearing housing, inverted spring, bearings, a main shaft with a hook head, sealing rings, and retaining rings, etc.

4. The improved feeding chute design addresses the issue of irregular materials falling off the conveyor belt, which can cause the belt to drift. To mitigate this, the center feed hopper's drop point needs to be adjusted. Therefore, the side baffles of the feeding trough can be moved, and the feed point position can be regulated with a adjusting screw. When the conveyor belt is operating normally, the vertical drum is not pushed by the belt but resets under the spring's action. The opposite drum automatically releases. This new reversible self-aligning roller架 group overcomes the traditional problems of small torque adjustment and unsatisfactory results, offering better alignment performance, simple structure, and ease of maintenance.
