The electrically heated reaction kettle boasts features such as rapid heating, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, hygiene, environmental pollution-free, automatic temperature control without the need for a boiler, and ease of use. It utilizes electric heating rods to heat the heat-conducting oil inside the jacket, raising the oil temperature to the required level, after which a temperature control instrument shuts off the electric heating rod to maintain a constant temperature. This is a newly developed product that has been successfully created by absorbing advanced technologies from both home and abroad and is widely used in industries such as chemicals, food, natural seasonings, food additives, and light industry.

The electrically heated heat transfer oil reactor, which uses electric heating pipes for its heating method, is typically operated individually, without forced circulation, and sees relatively less continuous production. The benefit is that electric heating employs automatic temperature control. However, the drawback is also objective; without forced circulation, the temperature around the electric heating pipes is relatively high, reaching over six hundred degrees. This poses issues for the thermal stability of the heat transfer oil. Over time, the carbonized material on the surface of the electric heating rods not only adheres to the surface but also affects heat transfer, leading to significant temperature differences and energy waste. This negates the original advantage of automatic temperature control, impacting production and becoming uneconomical. Therefore, it is recommended that the electrically heated reactors be cleaned regularly, ideally every two years based on production conditions.
