The refrigeration principle of the refrigeration equipment is that the liquid refrigerant in the evaporator absorbs the heat of the water and begins to evaporate, creating a certain temperature difference between the refrigerant and water. After the liquid refrigerant completely evaporates into a gas, it is吸入 by the compressor, resulting in an increase in pressure and temperature.

Gaseous refrigerant is condensed by the condenser (air-cooled/water-cooled), absorbing heat and transforming into a liquid refrigerant. After passing through a throttle valve or capillary tube, it becomes a low-temperature, low-pressure refrigerant, entering the evaporator to complete the refrigerant cycle.

Pumps are responsible for transferring water from the reservoir to the equipment that needs to be cooled. After the cold water carries away the heat, its temperature rises and then returns to the chilled reservoir through the pipes. The power section supplies electricity to the compressor, fan, pump, and others via a contactor.

What are the structural characteristics of industrial refrigeration units?

A standard industrial refrigeration unit is composed of five main components connected in series: a compressor, a condenser, an evaporator, a desiccant filter, and an expansion throttle valve, filled with an appropriate amount of refrigerant.

Electric appliances control the operation of the compressor based on environmental needs to achieve the purpose of refrigeration and heat transfer. Air-cooled refrigeration units are typically integrated units, combining the evaporator, compressor, and condenser together.

For larger capacity air-cooled industrial refrigeration units, consideration must be given to the heat dissipation of the condenser fan during operation. When installed in a factory, the unit requires the installation of an exhaust duct to expel the heat from the fan to the outdoors.
