The operation of the vacuum耙式(disk) dryer is less labor-intensive than that of the box dryer, allowing for the recovery of useful moisture from the material, with favorable operating conditions and easier management. Its drawbacks include lower production capacity, a more complex dryer structure, and a tendency for the agitator blades to become damaged. The disk vacuum dryer is widely used in the dye and medical industries, such as drying materials like intermediate dyes, anthraquinone sulfonic acid, olive green R, salicylic acid intermediates, kaprolactone polymers, and diphenylamine.
