
Handrails are a boon for many disabled and elderly friends, finding application in numerous locations.
Today, we share information on the installation of accessible handrails and the precautions to be taken during installation, hoping it provides a reference for your construction work.
The height of the single-level handrail for accessibility should be between 850mm and 900mm, while the upper handrail of the double-level handrail for accessibility should also be between 850mm and 900mm, with the lower handrail height ranging from 650mm to 700mm.
2. Handrails must be continuous; the handrails along the wall should extend horizontally for a length of not less than 300mm at the start and end points.

2. The distance between the inside of the handrail and the wall should be 40-50mm.
3. Handles should be installed securely and shaped for easy gripping.

Safety grab bars should be installed 50mm from both sides and the front edge of the washbasin.
2. Safety grab bars measuring 0.60-0.70m in width and 1.20m in height should be installed on both sides and above the urinal.
The commode is 0.45m tall, with 0.70m horizontal grab bars on both sides. A 1.40m vertical grab bar should be installed on one side of the wall.
4. The diameter of the barrier-free handrails should be 30-40mm.
5. The inside of the handrail should be 40mm from the wall.
