How to Reduce Cracks in Shandong Aerated Concrete Blocks: Blocks are a commonly used material in the construction industry. However, if not properly controlled, cracks may appear during installation and use. Reducing the likelihood of cracks is a concern for both buyers and sellers.
When the length of the block wall exceeds 5 meters, reinforced concrete columns should be installed within the wall to reduce the pressure on the blocks and minimize the possibility of beam deformation. For walls over 7 meters in length, in addition to the two structural columns, two more structural columns should be added before the existing ones, and a 12mm waist beam can effectively eliminate the potential for vertical cracks.
On both sides of the east and west walls, 1-2 room windows require reinforced concrete column windows. Below the windows, add a concrete strip 80-100mm thick, filled with C20 concrete and steel reinforcement. The steel reinforcement is connected to the frame columns, effectively reducing cracking caused by stress concentration in the block walls. The exterior walls use SKK elastic paint, which can fill cracks less than 1mm.
