The magnetostrictive level gauge is a new type of explosion-proof level gauge developed based on the Wiedemann effect of magnetostrictive materials. It can provide high-speed, reliable, and continuous position signals in explosive gas environments. This gauge can simultaneously measure the position of one or more float balls and output them in either analog or digital form. The analog output is in a two-wire system of 4-20mA+Hart; the digital output uses RS485 (Modbus protocol) serial communication. The level-type gauge operates with one or more float balls, which can float separately at the liquid-gas interface and liquid-liquid interface within the liquid tank and move in sync with them, enabling real-time detection of the liquid surface or interface in the tank.
